Mission & Social Witness
An important component of our faith community is sharing our time, talent, and gifts with our neighbors, both near and far. Various ministries have been organized to fulfill this goal.
We participate locally through regular donations to the local food shelves, cooperating with Place of Hope as a host for Church of the Week during the winter months, home-delivered meals, Habitat for Humanity, a prayer shawl ministry, and social justice efforts such as the Great River Interfaith Partnership (GRIP). We even donate vegetables from our Trinity Garden to the local food shelves.
Church members regularly participate in mission trips. In recent years, our members have traveled to Brazil, Costa Rica, Pakistan, and the US Gulf Coast -- doing good deeds and sharing God's love.
