September 16: Join Lynn Yueill to learn through pictures and stories about the Women Walking with Women trip to Guatemala (workshop trip supported by our mission money). Four women from MN Valleys Presbytery and CEDEPCA staff presented workshops to about fifty women (and a few men) on wholeness of spirit, body and relationships. Come and hear this beautiful story of the faith and life journeys of amazing Christians in Guatemala.
September 23: Join Kimm Anderson for a discussion of "Children and Video Games: What's the Problem?" from TheThoughtfulChristian.com. The study "provides an introduction to the world of video games, explains the lack of self-control by the video industry, which is most eager to make sales, and provides some resources for those just wanting to learn more or others wanting to join efforts to control access and irresponsible content." (info from the website)
September 30: GRIP Faith and Democracy dialogue, “Creating a Common Future Together.” As people of faith, we have a set of beliefs that embraces all of us in a common future — yet we remain deeply divided. Help create a bold vision of people of faith acting powerfully in the world to challenge the forces of fear and division — and to create a renewed vision for a common future together. This group will meet in Fellowship Hall.
